Ladies Only Concealed Carry Class

women onlySorry guys, but this class is all about the Ladies.

The goal of the Ladies Only Concealed Carry Course is to provide the student with a solid foundation in personal protection and carrying a concealed handgun, knowledge of various types of handguns, ammunition and how it functions, fundamentals of shooting in conventinal and non-conventinal shooting positions, legal aspects of carrying and use of force fundamentals.

REQUIRED GEAR:

  • IWB/OWB Strong side holster (no shoulder rigs, pocket holsters, purse holsters or cross draw holsters)
  • 150 Rounds of Factory ammunition (No reloads or remanufactured ammo allowed)
  • Semiauto pistol - .380 or larger with a minimum of 3 magazines
  • Mag Carrier with 2 mag capacity.
  • Baseball type cap
  • Eye & hearing protection. Amplified muffs highly suggested.
  • Hydration System or bottled water
  • Knee pads highly suggested
  • Cover garment
  • A positive attitude

Ladies Only - Intro to the AR15 Rifle

women onlySorry guys, but this class is all about the Ladies.  The goal of the Ladies Only - Intro to the AR15 Rifle course is to provide the student with a solid foundation in basic knowledge of carbine safety, various types of AR15's, an understanding of ammunition and how it functions, shooting fundamentals and an introduction to defensive shooting skills.

In this class we supply the guns, ammo, hearing protection and eye protection or if you choose you can bring your own.

A person new to the use of a firearm for personal defense typically has a broad range of questions and is faced with learning a number of skills that are critical in the use of a firearm – in this case an AR15– to defend themselves, their family or someone in their charge. Intro to the AR15 Rifle is specifically designed to provide a person new to carbines the opportunity to gain that knowledge and learn those skills.

A number of topics will be covered in “Intro to the AR15 Rifle - Introduction to the Defensive Use of a Carbine. These include but are not limited to:

  •     Safe handling of your firearm.
  •     Safe Storage of your firearm and ammunition.
  •     Basic components of an AR15
  •     Sighting in your rifle
  •     Types and Operation of various AR15's.
  •     Working With A Natural Defensive Stance
  •     Finding Your Balance of Speed and Precision
  •     Clearing Common Stoppages
  •     Definition of Cover and Concealment
  •     Selecting a Carbine and Ammunition
  •     Cleaning and Maintaining your AR15

Required Equipment

  •     Sturdy Shoes, Long Pants, Shirt With Higher Collar
  •     Comfortable clothing
  •     Hydration system or Bottled water.
  •     Baseball Cap

Course length is a full day, typically 6-8 hours including lunch break. There are short breaks throughout both the classroom session and shooting range drills.
